All About Jackson
From the shores of Eastern North Carolina, Jackson Wyatt Phillips began his performing arts journey at the age of 7, training daily at the North Carolina Academy of Dance Arts. There, he received extensive training in various dance styles, with a strong focus on Ballet, eventually joining their pre-professional program at 12.
After years of refining his dance technique, Jackson decided to broaden his artistic horizons by studying Theatre at Texas Christian University (TCU), where he expanded his training to include a variety of acting styles, combining his dance background with new performance skills and mediums. While at TCU, he performed in several theatre and film productions, including Such a F*cking Poet (2023), The Trials (as Adnan), and Matilda (as Rudolpho), further honing his versatility as a performer.
Jackson will graduate with a BFA in Theatre from TCU in May, and plans to move to Atlanta to pursue a career in film and television, eager to bring his unique blend of acting and dance to the industry.
